Meet Rotherham Counselling Staff
Pam Rotherham -Counsellor and Coordinator
Pam holds a Diploma in Counselling for Health Care Practitioners, through the University of Sheffield, building upon previously gained Certificates of Counselling Skills and Counselling Theory. Additional studies have encompassed advanced ‘Time-limited’ (brief) therapy and ‘Solution-focused strategies’. I have also completed specialist workshops, and have experience with a range of anxiety issues (particularly for effective anxiety management without use of medication). I am also a professionally-qualified Clinical Aromatherapist, Stress Manager and Trainer.
Patricia Kent -Associate Counsellor
Patricia is a professionally qualified Counsellor working within private practice and holds an Advanced Diploma in Counselling, building upon previously gained certificates of Counselling Skills and Counselling Theory. Patricia also holds a further Advanced Diploma in Couples Counselling from the Relate Institute, gained through the University of Hull.
During her career Patricia has gained knowledge of the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and has worked with individuals and couples using a range of skills obtained from courses and various workshops including Brief Solution Focused Therapy, Anger Management and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy skills. Patricia continues to attend specialist workshops in order to maintain my personal and professional development.
